Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and software engineering, with a strong focus on natural language processing (NLP) and natural language generation (NLG). Your background includes working with large language models (LLMs) and multimodal foundation models, and you are adept at building inclusive and privacy-preserving datasets for model training and evaluation. You are motivated by the challenge of designing and evolving complex AI systems, and you understand the importance of not just model accuracy but also system performance in production environments.

You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. You thrive in data-centric teams and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve state-of-the-art AI performance. Your passion for pushing the boundaries of AI technology drives you to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

Experience with hybrid vector databases and fine-tuning models in production is a plus. Familiarity with generative AI and conversational AI systems will help you excel in this role. You are also open to mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge with the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II at Moveworks, you will be a key member of the NLU team, working on enhancing the company's generative and conversational AI capabilities. You will leverage modern NLP and NLG tools to create magical user experiences, focusing on improving the performance of the end-to-end user-facing system. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing machine learning models, fine-tuning them for optimal performance, and ensuring they are reliable and efficient in production.

You will collaborate closely with a world-class annotation team to build high-quality datasets that are essential for training and evaluating your models. Your work will directly impact the core objectives of the team, helping to understand enterprise issues and develop a reliable AI copilot for users. You will also engage in solving challenging product and engineering problems, pushing the envelope of value provided to customers.
