Moveworks is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II to enhance their NLU and agentic AI capabilities. You'll leverage modern NLP and NLG tools to improve user experiences and AI performance. This role requires expertise in machine learning and programming skills, particularly in Python.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and software engineering, with a strong focus on natural language processing (NLP) and natural language generation (NLG). Your expertise includes working with large language models (LLMs) and multimodal foundation models, and you are comfortable fine-tuning and deploying models in production environments. You are data-centric and understand the importance of building inclusive and privacy-preserving datasets for model training and evaluation. You are motivated to design and evolve complex AI systems, ensuring not only accuracy but also performance metrics like latency and reliability.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to solve challenging engineering problems. Your passion for AI drives you to push the boundaries of what is possible, and you are eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies that enhance user experiences. You are also committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in the field.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with MLOps practices. You may have worked with hybrid vector databases and have a solid understanding of the infrastructure needed for machine learning workflows. A background in building error-free datasets and a keen eye for detail will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II at Moveworks, you will be instrumental in expanding the company's NLU and agentic AI capabilities. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools and frameworks to develop and optimize machine learning models that enhance conversational AI functionalities. Your role will involve collaborating with a world-class annotation team to ensure high-quality datasets are available for training and evaluation.

You will be responsible for fine-tuning models and evaluating their performance across various metrics, including accuracy, latency, and reliability. Your work will directly impact the user experience, as you strive to create a reliable AI copilot that understands and addresses enterprise issues effectively. You will also engage in designing and evolving the architecture of AI systems, ensuring they are scalable and efficient.
