Desirable

Experience with sandboxing and hardening techniques is a plus. Familiarity with other Gecko-based products and their integration challenges will help you excel in this role. You are also open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Firefox OS Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the crash reporting systems for Firefox across various operating systems. You will work closely with other engineers to ensure that the integration of Firefox with the host OS is seamless and that crash reports are accurately captured and analyzed. Your role will involve developing and implementing improvements to the crash reporting process, making it more efficient and user-friendly.

You will collaborate with the OS Integration team to identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring that Firefox performs optimally on macOS and other supported platforms. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the overall user experience by minimizing crashes and improving the reliability of the browser.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions about best practices and new technologies that can benefit the integration process. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and share your expertise in crash reporting and OS integration.
