What you'll do

As a Firefox OS Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Firefox and other Gecko-based products integrate seamlessly with various operating systems. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the crash reporting capabilities of the Firefox browser, which involves maintaining and evolving the client-side crash and error reporting systems.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers to identify and resolve issues related to crash reporting across different platforms. This includes working on OS abstraction layers and implementing sandboxing and hardening techniques to improve security and reliability.

Your role will also involve analyzing crash data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement. You will contribute to the development of tools and processes that enhance the overall stability of Firefox and its integration with the host operating system.

You will participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers, ensuring that best practices are followed in the development process. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge of integration engineering and crash reporting.
