What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Localization Team, you will play a crucial role in managing the infrastructure that powers localization across all Mozilla products. You will contribute to the development of Pontoon, our Django-based Translation Management System, and work on open-source libraries like moz-l10n. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing features that improve the localization process, ensuring that our products are user-friendly and accessible in multiple languages. You will collaborate with other engineers and community members to enhance the internationalization features of Firefox and other Mozilla products, making sure that they meet the needs of a global audience.

You will also engage in architectural discussions, helping to shape the future of our localization technologies. Your work will directly impact how millions of users experience Mozilla products, and you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth. You will participate in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and scalable.
