Full Stack Engineer • Junior

Who you are

You are a motivated junior developer eager to kickstart your career as a Full Stack Engineer. You have a strong academic background or some experience in Java (Spring) and/or Scala, and you are familiar with UI work using TypeScript. Your understanding of relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle is solid, and you have a basic grasp of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. You possess a strong willingness to learn and excellent communication skills, which will help you thrive in a collaborative environment.

Desirable

While not required, exposure to Apache Spark or Big Data tools would be a plus. Basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Shell or Python is also beneficial. An interest or background in finance and accounting concepts, along with familiarity with frontend technologies like React or Angular, would enhance your profile.

What you'll do

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle, from analysis and design to development and basic DevOps practices. You will support the development of backend REST services, assisting in optimizing accounting calculations using Apache Spark. Your responsibilities will also include managing batch data processing and collaborating with international team members to learn industry best practices. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with tier one investment banks and other organizations across various industries, providing you with invaluable experience.
