Who you are

You have a background in Inventory Operations or Supply Chain Management, ideally within an e-commerce or hyperlocal context. With 2+ years of experience in inventory management or operations, you understand the nuances of stock availability and customer satisfaction. Your strong analytical skills enable you to forecast demand accurately, and you are proficient in inventory management software. You possess excellent organizational and communication skills, allowing you to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Desirable

Experience working with local vendors and logistics teams is a plus. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques will enhance your ability to implement effective inventory strategies. You are proactive and detail-oriented, always looking for ways to improve processes and mitigate stock issues.

What you'll do

In this role, you will monitor and maintain optimal stock levels in local darkstores to meet demand forecasts. Collaborating with local vendors, you will ensure timely replenishment of inventory, which is crucial for enhancing service quality. You will analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand accurately, implementing strategies to mitigate stockouts and overstock situations. Working closely with logistics and delivery teams, you will ensure seamless integration of inventory management with hyperlocal delivery operations. Additionally, you will coordinate with the purchasing team to align inventory levels with promotional activities and seasonal trends. Your role will also involve identifying and implementing best practices in inventory management to enhance efficiency and accuracy, streamlining processes to improve stock accuracy and reduce discrepancies. As a team leader, you will train and mentor team members on inventory management best practices and tools, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes accuracy and accountability.
