Who you are
You are a high-growth stem cell scientist with a passion for pushing the boundaries of automation in cell therapy manufacture. You thrive in environments where you can run your own projects and tackle challenges head-on, with the support of a collaborative team. Your background includes experience in biology and an understanding of how engineering principles can be applied to biological processes. You are eager to learn and interface with multiple disciplines, including hardware and software, to drive innovation in regenerative medicine.
You have a strong foundation in stem cell research and are familiar with the latest advancements in regenerative therapies. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and are able to communicate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join Mytos's biology team and focus on scaling the production of regenerative medicines through automation. You will be responsible for executing projects that bridge the gap between biology and engineering, ensuring that therapies can be produced efficiently and at a lower cost. You will collaborate with engineers and other scientists to develop and refine automated processes for cell manufacturing. Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of therapies for conditions such as Parkinson's disease and vision loss.
You will have the autonomy to run your own projects, allowing you to explore innovative solutions to complex challenges. As you interface with various disciplines, you will gain insights into how hardware and software can enhance biological processes. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration within the organization.
