Narvar is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build products that enhance the post-purchase experience for major retail brands. You'll work with technologies like Java, Node.js, and React. This position requires 10+ years of experience in building reliable and scalable systems.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a BS/MS in computer science, information systems, or equivalent, and over 10 years of experience building reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems. Your expertise lies in developing consumer-facing applications using frontend frameworks such as React, Svelte, Angular, or Vue. You enjoy collaborating with product and design teams to translate wireframes and mockups into functional UI components, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Your backend development skills are equally strong, with experience in maintaining backend services using technologies like Golang and Node.js. You have a solid understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and are familiar with CI/CD practices to deploy code and infrastructure components efficiently. You are comfortable working with databases such as PostgreSQL, Spanner, and BigQuery, and have experience implementing RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will focus primarily on frontend development, implementing new product features and supporting existing ones. You will build frontend platform components that are leveraged across internal and external products, including e-commerce storefronts like Shopify and Salesforce. Your contributions will directly impact customer-facing products, driving millions of views and enhancing user engagement.
You will also contribute to backend development, ensuring the maintenance and development of backend services that support the frontend applications. Collaborating with other senior engineers, you will help maintain code quality standards and contribute to the overall architecture of the systems. Your role will involve working closely with product and design teams to ensure that the final product aligns with user needs and expectations.
What we offer
Narvar offers a competitive salary range of $180,000—$230,000 CAD, reflecting your skills and experience. We provide a supportive work environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.
