What you'll do

As the Senior/Principal Software Engineer at Nava, you will serve as the senior technical authority for a mission-critical platform at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). You will be accountable for transforming complex health data requirements into secure, scalable, and compliant systems that operate effectively in production. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include guiding hands-on technical execution across architecture, engineering, security, and operations, ensuring that teams deliver reliable products and services.

You will lead the design and implementation of systems that enhance user experiences and meet the needs of government partners. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements, establishing technical standards, and overseeing the health of systems from design through deployment and long-term operations. You will measure success by the systems launched, problems solved, and the tangible social impact created when government health technology is executed effectively.
