You have a strong background in managing technical teams, particularly in data center operations, where you've led teams responsible for cabling, hardware installation, and maintenance. Your experience includes overseeing the installation and troubleshooting of low-voltage cabling and communications infrastructure, ensuring high-quality execution of fiber and copper terminations. You are adept at enforcing operational best practices and managing work through ticketing systems. Your leadership style emphasizes mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment among your team members.
You understand the complexities of managing a 24/7 mission-critical environment and are skilled in balancing people leadership with technical execution. You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational rigor, ensuring that your team adheres to MOP/CMOP processes and change control protocols. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders makes you a valuable asset in any organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of data center technicians, guiding them in their daily tasks and ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed. You will oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low-voltage cabling and communications infrastructure, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include managing the execution of fiber and copper terminations, as well as testing and remediating complex issues that may arise in the data center.
You will own and enforce MOP/CMOP processes, ensuring that all changes are documented and communicated effectively to your team.
