You have extensive experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer, particularly with SAP BW and BO, and you understand the intricacies of data flows and transformations. You are comfortable working with cloud platforms and have a foundational knowledge of SQL to support your analyses.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with data architects and infrastructure teams to align on project roadmaps and priorities. Your ability to document and communicate technical details ensures that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the process. You also enjoy mentoring junior consultants, guiding them through the intricacies of data analysis and documentation.

Desirable

Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and solutions like SAP DataSphere is a plus, as is familiarity with ETL/ELT tools in cloud environments. Your background in advanced SQL will help you navigate complex queries and data manipulations effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will analyze the current state of BW/BO systems, documenting source systems, InfoProviders, and reporting structures. You will conduct detailed analyses of data flows, including extractors and transformations, to understand business rules and calculation logic. Mapping current BW/BO objects to equivalent components in cloud architectures will be a key responsibility, ensuring a seamless transition to platforms like BigQuery.

You will define data quality criteria and reconciliation processes to ensure that metrics in the new platform align with those from BW/BO. Collaborating with data architects and business teams, you will help design solutions that meet organizational needs while maintaining high standards of data integrity. Your technical guidance will be invaluable to junior consultants as they navigate their own analyses and documentation tasks.
