Who you are

You have over 6 years of experience in SAP SD and/or MM, with a proven track record of participating in upgrade projects from ECC to S/4HANA. Your expertise includes analyzing functional impacts and leading Fit-to-Standard activities, where you identify gaps between real usage and historical data. You are well-versed in processes related to sales, billing, purchasing, and inventory management, ensuring that you can effectively review and adjust these processes as needed.

Your solid knowledge of Business Partner concepts and Output Management (BRF+) allows you to navigate complex SAP environments with ease. You have experience in pricing strategies and account determination within S/4HANA, which is crucial for optimizing business processes. Additionally, your background in functional testing and defect management equips you to handle the challenges that arise during upgrades and conversions.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with technical teams to remediate impacted developments and ensure alignment with SAP Best Practices. Your ability to analyze and correct incidents post-upgrade demonstrates your commitment to maintaining system integrity and performance.

Desirable

Experience in RISE with SAP environments is a plus, as it showcases your adaptability to modern SAP solutions. Your familiarity with both Brownfield and Bluefield conversion strategies further enhances your profile, making you a valuable asset to any project team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will analyze the functional impacts of the upgrade to S/4HANA, focusing on simplifications, deprecations, and changes in tables and transactions. You will lead Fit-to-Standard activities, identifying real gaps versus historical usage, and ensure that sales processes, billing, and purchasing are optimized for efficiency.

You will also be responsible for accompanying the conversion of relevant data, such as clients and suppliers to Business Partners, as well as materials and info records. Your participation in unit, integration, and UAT testing will be crucial to ensure that all functionalities are working as intended post-upgrade.

Collaboration with technical teams will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will work together to remediate any developments impacted by the upgrade. You will ensure that all processes align with SAP Best Practices and the Clean Core guidelines, maintaining a high standard of quality throughout the project.
