You have experience integrating heterogeneous data sources and are familiar with various data formats, including binary and relational data. Your knowledge of frameworks such as Kirby and Scalfolder enables you to standardize and generate code efficiently. You are also comfortable working with data orchestration tools like Airflow and AWS Step Functions.

Desirable

Experience with data lakes and data catalogs in AWS is a plus. Familiarity with data transformation processes and tools will help you excel in this role. You are a proactive learner, always looking to improve your skills and adapt to new technologies in the data engineering landscape.

What you'll do

In this role, you will analyze, design, and develop applications and data pipelines using Python and Scala. You will implement solutions utilizing AWS services such as Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, and EMR to modernize data architectures. Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing data orchestration processes, ensuring data quality, and implementing best practices in data engineering.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Your role will involve transforming and integrating diverse data sources, ensuring that data is accessible and usable for strategic decision-making. You will also participate in the implementation of security and governance practices to protect sensitive data.
