Who you are

You have a solid understanding of software testing processes and are familiar with ISTQB FL / AT certifications. Your experience includes working with various types of testing, including functional and performance testing, and you are comfortable using automation frameworks. You possess a medium level of knowledge in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, as well as managing pipelines effectively.

You are proficient in using tools such as Jira (with X-ray) and Confluence for test management and documentation. Your technical skills include working with databases like SQL, Oracle, DB2, and PostgreSQL, which allows you to perform thorough data validation during testing. You are also familiar with performance testing tools and have experience with frameworks like SerenityBDD, Gherkin - Cucumber, and Gradle.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software products. You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test cases. Your expertise in performance testing will be crucial as you analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks.

You will also be involved in maintaining and enhancing the existing test automation framework, ensuring it remains robust and scalable. As part of your responsibilities, you will document test results and report defects using Jira, facilitating clear communication with the development team.

Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback on testing processes and suggesting enhancements to improve efficiency. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior QA team members, sharing your knowledge and best practices in test automation.
