Who you are

You are a QA Engineer with a strong background in designing and executing automated testing strategies. You have experience with modern QA practices, including performance testing and CI/CD integration in agile environments. Your expertise includes managing test cases using Jira and X-Ray, and you are familiar with various testing processes and types as per ISTQB standards.

You possess solid skills in test automation, particularly with tools like SerenityBDD, Gherkin/Cucumber, and Karate. You are adept at developing automated scripts for both frontend and backend services, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Your analytical skills allow you to interpret performance testing results using JMeter and K6, identifying bottlenecks effectively.

You have knowledge of security testing practices, including the use of OWASP ZAP, and you are keen on automating security tests as a desirable skill. Your experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly in Azure DevOps, enables you to integrate testing seamlessly into the development workflow. You are also proficient in version control using Git, ensuring that your automation scripts are well-managed and maintained.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement testing strategies that ensure the quality of NEORIS's digital solutions. You will collaborate closely with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipelines, enhancing the overall efficiency of the software delivery process. Your responsibilities will include executing automated tests, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to improve product quality.

You will manage test cases and documentation using Jira and X-Ray, ensuring that all testing activities are well-documented and traceable. You will also be responsible for developing automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications, focusing on achieving high test coverage and reliability.

Performance testing will be a significant part of your duties, where you will execute tests using JMeter and K6, interpreting results to identify performance bottlenecks and recommending optimizations. Additionally, you will conduct security testing using OWASP ZAP, contributing to the overall security posture of the applications.

You will work in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. Your role will also involve mentoring junior QA team members, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the team.
