Who you are

You have 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong understanding of both functional and non-functional testing methodologies. Your background includes working with agile teams, where you've actively participated in ceremonies and contributed to defining acceptance criteria. You are familiar with BDD principles and can design effective test strategies and cases based on these criteria.

Your expertise extends to automation, where you've identified candidate flows for automation and developed tests for both frontend and backend applications. You are comfortable using performance testing tools to conduct load and stress tests, ensuring that applications meet high-quality standards. You also have experience managing defects and quality risks, documenting results effectively to communicate findings with your team.

You are proficient in using tools like Jira and Confluence for test management and documentation, and you understand the importance of version control and CI/CD pipelines in the software development lifecycle. Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to negotiate and adapt in a multicultural environment, and you are committed to continuous self-development and achieving results.

Desirable

Experience with ISTQB certifications (FL/AT) is a plus, as is familiarity with international testing practices. Knowledge of additional testing tools or frameworks would enhance your profile, as would experience in a similar industry.

What you'll do

As a QA Engineer at NEORIS, you will execute both manual and automated tests throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring that all features meet the required quality standards. You will design and implement test strategies, plans, and cases based on BDD criteria, actively participating in agile ceremonies to align with your team on project goals. Your role will involve managing defects and quality risks, as well as documenting results to provide clear insights into the testing process.

You will identify automation opportunities and develop tests for web and mobile applications, contributing to the overall quality of high-impact projects. Implementing quality metrics such as bug counts, code coverage, and code quality will be part of your responsibilities, as will using performance testing tools to assess application robustness under load.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with developers and product owners to ensure that quality is integrated into the development process from the start. You will also be involved in mentoring junior QA team members, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the team.
