You have a solid background in software quality assurance, with experience in designing and executing test plans for both functional and non-functional requirements. Your expertise includes automation strategies and metrics for quality assurance, ensuring that software solutions meet the highest standards. Your experience with various testing frameworks and tools allows you to effectively validate software quality and performance.

You are familiar with managing test cases and defects using tools like Jira and X-Ray, and you have a strong understanding of relational databases, including SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2. Your ability to integrate testing scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps demonstrates your commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency in the software development lifecycle. You are also knowledgeable in interpreting performance and security testing results using tools like JMeter and OWASP ZAP.

Desirable

Experience with shift-left and shift-right testing practices is a plus, as is a passion for continuous learning and improvement in software quality. You are open to exploring new technologies and methodologies that enhance the testing process and contribute to the overall success of the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, implement, and execute comprehensive testing strategies that encompass functional, non-functional, security, and performance testing. You will automate frontend and backend tests using frameworks such as SerenityBDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and Karate, ensuring that all aspects of the software are thoroughly validated before deployment. Your responsibilities will include managing test cases and defects in Jira and X-Ray, as well as validating data in relational databases.

You will collaborate closely with agile teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards. This includes participating in defining acceptance criteria and integrating testing scripts into CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process. You will also analyze testing metrics and results to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the continuous enhancement of quality assurance practices within the organization.
