You have extensive experience in data engineering, particularly with Teradata and Microsoft Fabric, and you understand the intricacies of maintaining and optimizing data platforms. Your background includes developing data architectures and solutions that enhance performance and stability, ensuring critical processes run smoothly.

You are proficient in implementing and orchestrating data pipelines using tools like PySpark and Spark SQL, and you have a strong grasp of ELT processes in Teradata. Your experience includes integrating financial data from systems like Oracle EBS/Fusion, ensuring consistency across different environments.

You are familiar with best practices in data governance and security, and you actively participate in defining technical guidelines for data management. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, contributing to the overall success of data initiatives.

Desirable

Experience with advanced tuning in data loads and queries is a plus, as is familiarity with lakehouse architectures. You are always eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, which helps you stay ahead in the rapidly evolving field of data engineering.

What you'll do

In this role, you will maintain and evolve the existing Teradata Vantage platform, ensuring optimal performance and stability for critical processes. You will develop new data architectures and solutions in Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouse setups and data pipelines, while applying your expertise in data engineering.

You will design and build ELT processes in Teradata, utilizing tools like BTEQ and TPT, and perform advanced tuning on data loads and queries to enhance efficiency. Your responsibilities will also include implementing and orchestrating data pipelines in Fabric, leveraging Notebooks and components of data engineering to streamline operations.

You will integrate financial data from Oracle EBS/Fusion, ensuring consistency between Teradata and Fabric while applying models oriented towards financial reporting. Additionally, you will participate in defining best practices and technical guidelines for both environments, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
