You are an experienced professional with a deep understanding of SAP CO, particularly in the context of SAP S/4HANA. Your expertise allows you to lead complex global migrations, ensuring that financial processes are aligned and optimized across various teams. You thrive in high-pressure environments and have a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Your technical literacy in SAP is robust, enabling you to produce high-quality functional specifications and evaluate SAP Notes. You have a solid grasp of the technical aspects of the SAP platform, which allows you to collaborate seamlessly with ABAP teams and integration specialists. Your experience with the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) positions you to drive the transition from ECC-based control practices to the best practices enabled by S/4HANA.

You possess a strong knowledge of CDS Views and Embedded Analytics in S/4HANA, which is crucial for defining functional requirements for CO reporting. Your ability to analyze and simplify complex processes will be key in ensuring that the migration is successful and that the new system meets the needs of the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the functional stream of SAP CO during a significant global migration to SAP S/4HANA. You will coordinate with various teams to ensure that financial and control processes are aligned from end to end. Your responsibilities will include managing teams across different functions, ensuring that everyone is working towards a common goal in a high-pressure environment.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality functional specifications and reviewing SAP Notes to ensure that the implementation aligns with best practices. Your collaboration with ABAP and integration teams will be essential in driving the technical aspects of the migration. You will also focus on transitioning control practices from ECC to S/4HANA, emphasizing standardization, simplification, and real-time analytics.

Your role will require you to define functional requirements for CO reporting, leveraging your knowledge of CDS Views and Embedded Analytics. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the new system meets their needs and enhances the overall efficiency of financial processes.
