Netflix is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to lead the development and optimization of programmatic signals analytics for their global Ads business. You'll work with SQL, Python, and machine learning to build foundational metrics and dashboards. This position requires significant experience in data analysis and predictive modeling.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, with a strong background in data analysis and predictive modeling — you've developed analytic tools and built workflows that drive business decisions. Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, and you are comfortable working with machine learning algorithms to derive insights from data.

You possess a deep understanding of programmatic advertising and the metrics that matter for optimizing ad delivery — your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform strategies around audience targeting and inventory quality. You are skilled in data visualization tools like Tableau and BigQuery, enabling you to present complex data in an accessible manner.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development of analytics frameworks that measure and enhance DSP adoption and ROI across Netflix's programmatic ecosystem — your work will directly impact how the company optimizes ad delivery and maximizes audience engagement. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, finance, and ad operations teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations based on your analyses.

You will be responsible for building foundational metrics and dashboards that drive decision-making processes — your analytical skills will empower teams to understand the effectiveness of their strategies and make data-driven adjustments. As a subject matter expert, you will shape the analytics vision for programmatic advertising at Netflix, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
