Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, with a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies. Your expertise includes Java and JavaScript, and you are comfortable working with frameworks like React and Node.js. You understand the intricacies of building scalable applications and have a passion for optimizing user experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Desirable
Experience with Python is a plus, as it may be beneficial for certain integrations within the Studio Orchestrator platform. Familiarity with media production tools such as Maya and Nuke would also be advantageous, as you will be integrating these into the platform. A background in the entertainment industry or knowledge of media workflows can help you understand the unique challenges faced by content production teams.
What you'll do
In this role, you will evolve the Studio Orchestrator platform to better serve our content production partners in live action, animation, and visual effects. You will extend the capabilities of the platform and integrate it into various tools used in these domains, ensuring seamless workflows for artists and production teams. Your work will involve collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will design and implement new features, focusing on performance and scalability, while also maintaining existing functionalities. You will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to best practices. Additionally, you will monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers. As part of the Studio Orchestrator Team, you will contribute to building a robust platform that supports the entire content production process, from pitch to play. Your contributions will directly impact the creation of movies and TV series that entertain audiences worldwide.
