You have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, with a strong focus on building and operating scalable systems. Your expertise in Java and Python allows you to design robust backend services that can handle high volumes of automated tests. You understand the importance of reliability and efficiency in infrastructure, and you have experience with cloud platforms like AWS.

You are familiar with CI/CD practices and tools, and you have a solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker. Your problem-solving skills enable you to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system performance. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, build, and operate backend services that power the Test Automation platform at Netflix. You will focus on ensuring the reliability and scalability of the infrastructure, which supports over 3 million test executions daily. Your responsibilities will include developing core services, managing service deployment, and enhancing observability and alerting systems.

You will collaborate with other engineering teams to provide composable capabilities and pluggable abstractions that facilitate automated testing across various Netflix applications. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency of the testing process, enabling teams to validate their products effectively.
