What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Member Foundations Data Engineering team at Netflix, focusing on building and maintaining the core datasets that represent member interactions with the Netflix product. You will oversee the development of data pipelines that capture client logged events, ensuring that the data is accurate and accessible for analysis. Your leadership will guide the team in implementing engineering rigor in all data products, ensuring they are scalable and meet the growing demands of Netflix's user base.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and data scientists, to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable engineering solutions. Your role will involve mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving the adoption of best practices in data engineering.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the data assets have strong quality guarantees, implementing monitoring and validation processes to maintain data integrity. As a leader, you will encourage innovation within your team, exploring new tools and methodologies to enhance data processing capabilities and improve overall efficiency.
