You have a strong background in machine learning, particularly in audio and speech technologies, with experience in model evaluation and integration. Your expertise includes working with state-of-the-art tools for automatic speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems, and you are familiar with the latest advancements in the field. You possess a strategic mindset, balancing quality, latency, and cost in your work to enhance game development. You are comfortable leading research and development efforts, particularly in adapting speech models using parameter-efficient techniques.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of audio experiences in gaming. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a key strength, allowing you to advocate for innovative solutions. Desirable

What you'll do
In this role, you will be embedded within the Studio Media Algorithms team, collaborating closely with the Games Studio R&D team. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and integrate open-source and commercial models for audio processing, including ASR, TTS, and voice cloning. You will lead the fine-tuning and adaptation of these models to address production gaps, ensuring high-quality audio experiences at scale.
You will also be responsible for strategic model integration, balancing quality, latency, and cost to accelerate game development. Your work will involve leveraging emerging technologies to support creators and reach player audiences in innovative ways. You will contribute to the incubation-style team focused on building new kinds of games, pushing the boundaries of storytelling and player engagement.
