You are an entry-level professional eager to support the animation production process at Netflix. You have a keen interest in technology and a desire to learn about rendering infrastructure. You thrive in collaborative environments and are ready to engage with various technology departments to solve problems as they arise.
You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively report issues and collaborate with production teams. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple tasks, ensuring that production requests are handled through the proper tracking systems. You are proactive in identifying priorities and addressing faults in the rendering process.
Desirable
While not required, familiarity with production technology or experience in a technical support role would be beneficial. A passion for animation and an understanding of the creative process can enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will monitor production render queues and respond to identified errors or faults. You will work closely with production teams to prioritize render farm tasks based on shows, departments, and shots. Your responsibilities will include managing production render resource allocations and ensuring that requests for resource allocations are submitted correctly.
You will also be responsible for escalating system faults in a timely manner and ensuring follow-through where required. Reporting on disk space and other relevant metrics will be part of your daily tasks, helping to maintain the efficiency of the rendering infrastructure.
As part of a global team, you will manage automated data transport operations between locations and contribute to improving processes within the Digital Resources team. Your role will be crucial in supporting the animation production process and ensuring that the technology operates smoothly.
