Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in product management, particularly in financial planning or analytics — your experience includes leading cross-functional teams to develop enterprise-grade systems that enhance financial operations. You are adept at navigating complex workflows and can translate user needs into actionable product features. Your analytical skills enable you to leverage data and AI to drive decision-making processes effectively.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with Finance, Engineering, Design, and Data Science teams — you understand the importance of building intuitive systems that improve financial accuracy and operational rigor. You are passionate about creating tools that support strategic trade-offs and enhance financial accountability in a fast-paced environment.
Your experience includes working with data analytics and AI-driven platforms — you are familiar with the challenges of scaling systems in a global media and entertainment context. You thrive in environments that require both creativity and analytical thinking, and you are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within your team.
Desirable
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or financial modeling tools would be a plus — you are comfortable working with large datasets and have a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with the media and entertainment industry is advantageous, as it helps you understand the unique financial challenges faced by organizations in this space.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development of planning systems that power financial operations across Netflix — your focus will be on building scalable data and analytics capabilities that support revenue and operating expense planning. You will shape end-to-end workflows that include ads supply and demand forecasting, headcount scenario modeling, and P&L performance insights.
You will partner closely with Finance teams to ensure that the tools you develop meet their needs and enhance their ability to make informed decisions — your role will involve gathering requirements, conducting user research, and iterating on product features based on feedback. You will also collaborate with Engineering and Data Science to implement AI-driven capabilities that improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial planning processes.
Your responsibilities will include defining success metrics for the planning tools you develop and ensuring that they align with Netflix's strategic goals — you will be responsible for managing the product roadmap and prioritizing features based on user needs and business impact. You will also engage in stakeholder management, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and involved throughout the development process.
What we offer
At Netflix, you will be part of a culture that values creativity and innovation — we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. You will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape the financial landscape of a leading entertainment service. We offer competitive compensation and a collaborative work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
