Who you are
You have a strong background in film research, ideally gained from working at a studio or research agency. Your expertise allows you to understand what motivates audiences and how to create compelling entertainment experiences. You are passionate about representing the consumer voice in business decisions, especially in the context of film. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with other researchers and executives to bring insights to life. What you'll do
As a Senior Researcher, you will own genre and title-focused research for Netflix's original film slate. This includes conducting development studies to optimize scripts and audience screenings to refine films during production. You will also lead marketing studies to identify the most marketable film assets. Your insights will directly influence the creative process and business strategies, ensuring that consumer preferences are at the forefront of decision-making. You will collaborate with a team of Consumer Insights researchers and interface with high-level executives, making your role critical to the success of Netflix's film offerings. You will build and maintain relationships with external creators, ensuring that the consumer voice is represented throughout the filmmaking process.
