Overview
Nethermind is seeking a Smart Contract Auditor to enhance blockchain security by reviewing and securing protocols in the Ethereum and StarkNet ecosystems. You'll work with Solidity and Cairo, requiring a solid understanding of smart contract vulnerabilities and the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
Job Description
Who you are
You have at least 1 year of experience in smart contract auditing, with a strong fluency in Solidity development and deployment. Your understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and the Yellow Paper is solid, allowing you to navigate complex blockchain environments effectively. You are familiar with common smart contract vulnerabilities and have experience using various tools and frameworks for security analysis. Your debugging skills are strong, and you may have experience in reverse engineering, which adds to your capability in this role. Knowledge of Cairo and StarkNet is a plus, as is any prior experience in traditional cybersecurity before transitioning to blockchain.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work directly with protocols in the Ethereum and StarkNet ecosystems, reviewing their code to help secure their protocols. You will collaborate with teammates to maintain and improve existing blockchain security tools, employing modern software engineering practices. Developing new blockchain security tools will be part of your responsibilities, and you will engage in meetings with clients to discuss security improvements and best practices. Your work will be at the forefront of blockchain technology, allowing you to interact with various teams across the organization.
