You are an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in embedded systems — you have hands-on experience in board design, integration, and verification, particularly in safety-critical environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with chip designers, firmware engineers, and mechanical engineers to create innovative solutions. Your expertise in electrical engineering fundamentals allows you to deliver reliable and manufacturable systems that meet stringent performance requirements.
You have a solid understanding of design verification processes and are skilled in using tools like Altium Designer for schematic design and layout. Your programming skills in languages such as C and C++ enable you to contribute effectively to firmware integration and system testing. You are familiar with MATLAB for simulations and analysis, which enhances your ability to conduct R&D investigations and experiments.
You are passionate about advancing technology that can significantly impact human lives — your interest in brain-computer interfaces drives you to explore new possibilities in highly constrained environments. Desirable

What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and integration of implant electronics for next-generation brain-computer interfaces. You will contribute to all phases of board design, from part selection and schematic design to layout and bring-up. Your work will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
You will utilize your electrical engineering expertise to deliver high-performance, reliable systems that operate within strict size and power constraints. Conducting design verification and testing will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the systems you develop meet safety and performance standards.
You will also engage in R&D activities, conducting experiments to validate design concepts and explore new technologies that can enhance the capabilities of brain-computer interfaces.
