Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience working with HVAC systems — you understand the intricacies of maintaining and repairing various HVAC equipment including air handlers, chillers, and split systems. Your EPA 608 Universal Certification showcases your commitment to safety and compliance in facility operations. You possess the ability to interpret mechanical and architectural prints and schematics, which allows you to effectively collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to maintain systems in peak operating condition.
Your comprehensive knowledge of facility safety, particularly OSHA standards, ensures that you prioritize safety in all your tasks. You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where your strong collaboration and communication skills come into play. You are driven to solve real-world problems and keep the systems behind the scenes running at their best, making you a valuable asset to the Facilities team.
Desirable
Experience with building automation systems would be a plus, as it complements your HVAC expertise. A background in mechanical or electrical systems can further enhance your contributions to the team. What you'll do
In this role, you will maintain and repair HVAC equipment, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and reliably. You will perform basic ductwork modifications and various repairs, contributing to the overall functionality of the facility. Your responsibilities will also include performing water piping and insulation modifications and repairs, which are crucial for maintaining optimal HVAC performance.
Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure that all systems are in peak operating condition. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions that enhance the efficiency of building operations.
