Who you are

You have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in product design and manufacturing systems. Your understanding of first principles in mechanical and manufacturing engineering allows you to tackle a variety of projects effectively.

You possess proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, enabling you to create detailed models and prototypes. Your ability to analyze and optimize designs ensures that products meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. You are detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work that adheres to industry standards.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, where you can share ideas and learn from others. Desirable

What you'll do

As a Mechanical Engineer at Neuralink, you will take ownership of the design and production of hardware solutions for our brain-computer interface devices. You will explore early device architectures and contribute to the design direction of the company. Your responsibilities will include scoping projects, collaborating with other engineers, and diving deep into manufacturing challenges to ensure smooth production processes.

You will work closely with electrical engineers, chip designers, and software engineers to integrate various components into cohesive systems. Your role will involve creating detailed design specifications and conducting feasibility studies to guide project development. You will also be responsible for developing test infrastructure to validate the performance and reliability of our products.
