You understand the intricacies of VPC creation and configuration, IAM management, and account security, ensuring that cloud assets are logged and accounted for. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, empowering your team to continuously improve cloud platform enablement. You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving issues, such as eliminating zombie infrastructure to optimize resource usage.

You are skilled in infrastructure as code practices, enabling you to deploy changes efficiently and maintain high availability in production environments. Your financial acumen ensures adherence to departmental budgets, and you are adept at creating timely expense reports. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to setting high standards for your team while executing beyond them.

Desirable

Experience with cloud cost management tools and practices is a plus. Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and practices will enhance your ability to lead the CloudOps and DevOps Engineers effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of CloudOps and DevOps Engineers and Analysts, guiding them in the design, development, automation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of public cloud platforms. You will be accountable for reviewing and providing your team with a defined cloud platform best practices enablement strategy, standards, procedures, tools, and processes. Your partnership with product leadership will be crucial in completing work and providing requirements and stakeholder input.

You will provide management updates, status reporting, and dashboards from a platform health and security perspective, demonstrating platform progress and process maturity. Your leadership will ensure that the AWS Operations Team operates efficiently and effectively, supporting various teams using AWS PaaS components. You will also be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of cloud operations, ensuring that all cloud assets are accounted for and that departmental budgets are adhered to.
