Who you are

You are a skilled DevOps Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in automating and managing complex cloud environments. You have a strong background in AWS and are familiar with best practices for cloud security and cost efficiency. Your expertise in CI/CD processes, particularly with Jenkins, allows you to design and implement robust pipelines that support automated builds, testing, and deployments. You are proficient in shell scripting and have experience developing automation scripts and tools to streamline operational workflows. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and Operations to ensure seamless software delivery and deployment.

You understand the importance of monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure, build failures, and deployment issues to maintain high availability and performance. You are committed to implementing and maintaining configuration management practices and infrastructure-as-code principles, ensuring that the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to support automated builds, testing, and deployments. You will manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, ensuring it adheres to cloud best practices while being secure and cost-efficient. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software delivery and deployment, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues to ensure high performance.

You will also develop automation scripts and tools using shell scripting and other programming languages to streamline operational workflows. Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining robust configuration management practices and infrastructure-as-code principles. You will document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing within the team and contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices within the organization.
