Who you are

You have a solid background in software engineering with a focus on designing and developing enterprise-grade software solutions. Your experience includes taking ownership of the full software development lifecycle, ensuring that the products you create meet high standards of quality and performance. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for identifying areas for improvement in existing systems, which allows you to contribute effectively to scalable and secure solutions.

You possess strong technical expertise in Java and are comfortable working with various software components. Your ability to evaluate new technologies through proof of concepts (POCs) is a key asset, as is your experience in participating in architectural decisions. You understand the importance of code quality and are committed to thorough reviews and testing practices that adhere to engineering best practices.

Collaboration is second nature to you, and you thrive in multidisciplinary Agile teams. You enjoy reviewing code and designs, and you are proactive in partnering with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Your experience includes providing L4 support, which demonstrates your capability to handle complex technical challenges.

You are passionate about driving continuous improvements in software performance, scalability, and reliability. You have a proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions that enhance the overall user experience. Your strong communication skills enable you to present your designs and ideas effectively to your team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Desirable

Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud technologies. You are open to learning new skills and adapting to the evolving landscape of software engineering.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take full ownership of designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software features that align with business requirements. You will quickly understand product designs and existing issues, contributing to scalable and secure solutions that are production-ready. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing software components, evaluating technologies through POCs, and participating in architectural decisions.

You will ensure code quality through thorough reviews and unit/system tests, adhering to engineering best practices. Your focus on performance, scalability, and reliability will drive you to proactively identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary Agile teams, reviewing code and designs, and partnering with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including providing L4 support.

Your role will also involve presenting your designs to the team, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed about the technical direction. You will be expected to demonstrate strong technical expertise and attention to detail, delivering robust software across the full software development lifecycle.
