You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on developing and configuring enterprise solutions β your experience includes working with financial institutions and understanding their unique challenges. You are proficient in Java and SQL, enabling you to build robust applications that meet high standards of quality and performance. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside architects and business analysts to deliver solutions that address complex compliance and risk management issues. Your ability to mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews demonstrates your commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within your team.
You are familiar with both agile and waterfall methodologies, allowing you to adapt to various project requirements and timelines. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to address technical queries from customers effectively, ensuring that user acceptance testing is conducted smoothly. You are proactive in suggesting enhancements to existing solutions, always aiming to meet client requirements while adhering to product frameworks. Your experience in multi-disciplinary teams has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex project dynamics and deliver successful outcomes.
Desirable
Experience with financial crime prevention or compliance solutions is a plus, as it will enhance your understanding of the industry-specific challenges faced by clients. Familiarity with additional programming languages or frameworks can also be beneficial in expanding your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise-scale Actimize solutions that help financial institutions mitigate risk and ensure compliance. You will collaborate closely with architects and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that the solutions you develop align with enterprise standards. Your role will involve planning and performing unit and functionality testing to validate that the solutions meet design requirements and function as intended.
You will interact with customers to address any technical queries they may have, providing support during user acceptance testing to ensure a seamless implementation process. Your ability to suggest enhancements based on client feedback will be crucial in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will also work independently with R&D, Professional Services, and Customer Support teams to resolve any issues that arise during the development and deployment phases.
Mentoring junior team members will be a key aspect of your role, as you will conduct code reviews and provide guidance to help them grow in their careers. You may occasionally work on client sites or in different time zones, requiring flexibility and adaptability in your work schedule. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our solutions, helping organizations safeguard against financial crime and compliance challenges.
