Test Automation Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in automation testing, particularly in functional and usability testing of web applications and backend services. You are skilled in designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and test plans, and you excel at writing detailed test cases for thorough feature validation, including exploratory testing for undefined scenarios.

You are proficient in automating test cases for functional and regression testing using Selenium and related frameworks. You have a strong understanding of defect workflow management and are capable of monitoring daily regression builds to ensure code quality and stability. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with Product Managers and Developers to deliver high-quality production releases.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and are adept at troubleshooting application and environment issues. You thrive in multi-disciplinary Agile teams and are committed to applying innovative concepts in testing to enhance coverage, quality, and reliability.

Desirable

Experience with additional testing frameworks or tools is a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in grooming and sprint planning sessions will further enhance your fit for this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will actively participate in grooming and sprint planning to assess testing efforts and ensure QA commitments are achievable. You will design and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans, write detailed test cases, and perform hands-on test execution.

You will automate test cases for functional and regression testing using Selenium, monitor daily regression builds, and contribute to product design discussions to ensure testability, scalability, and robustness. Your role will involve collaborating closely with Product Managers and Developers to deliver high-quality production releases.

You will also apply innovative concepts in testing to enhance coverage, quality, and reliability, and troubleshoot application and environment issues using your strong problem-solving skills. Your contributions will help ensure that the products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
