Who you are

You have a solid background in automation engineering with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automation scripts. Your expertise in Java and Selenium allows you to create robust test frameworks that ensure software quality. You understand the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and you are familiar with defect life cycles. Your knowledge of SQL and UNIX enhances your ability to work with databases and operating systems effectively. You are comfortable with web application testing, including technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and you have experience using tools such as XML and JSON for testing purposes.

You are a proactive individual contributor who can work independently while also collaborating with implementers, business analysts, and QA management. Your strong communication skills enable you to prepare detailed test reports and maintain test environments efficiently. You are also experienced in planning and executing software testing within scheduled timelines, achieving clear and actionable testing results. You have a knack for mentoring junior automation engineers, guiding them in best practices and effective testing strategies.

Desirable

Experience with additional testing tools and technologies would be a plus, as would familiarity with agile methodologies. You are always eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices in the automation testing field.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join the Professional Services team at NICE, where you will be responsible for validating and verifying solution implementations for various clients globally. You will collaborate closely with implementers and business analysts to understand client business needs and ensure that solutions are implemented accordingly. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks that enhance the testing process.

You will lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are encouraged. Your responsibilities will include creating test data, preparing test reports, and maintaining the test environment with package deployment and release management. You will also be involved in planning and performing software testing of various systems or software features, ensuring that testing is completed within the scheduled timeline and meets the highest quality standards.

You will prepare daily and weekly reports and dashboards for internal team use, providing insights into testing progress and results. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes.
