Test Automation Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You are a professional automation engineer with a strong testing background and knowledge of building automated systems and tests for both front-end UI and backend services. You have experience testing all aspects of a distributed system and are comfortable working in a cross-functional, distributed Scrum team.

You possess the ability to develop API, automation, and integration tests for cloud-scale products. Your expertise includes running manual tests and building automation test suites for regression and new features, ensuring data integrity in applications and databases, and automating deployment and data generation processes.

You are proactive in maintaining and expanding automated testing frameworks and tests. You are involved in new feature development, providing input on the correct behavior of the system, and following team-specified “done” criteria. You are also supportive during customer integration testing, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

What you'll do

As a Specialist Automation Engineer at NICE, you will be responsible for developing and supporting automated testing for our cloud-scale products. You will collaborate with your Scrum team to create and execute test plans that ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your role will involve designing and implementing automation frameworks that enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

You will work closely with developers to understand new features and provide feedback on their functionality. Your contributions will help shape the testing strategy and ensure that all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested before release. You will also be responsible for running manual tests when necessary and ensuring that all automated tests are up to date and relevant.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions about product development and testing strategies. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and share your knowledge of best practices in automation testing.
