Who you are
You have a strong background in deploying and monitoring complex distributed systems, with hands-on experience in air-gapped environments. Your expertise in AWS and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes enables you to tackle high-scale, mission-critical problems effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers across disciplines to solve challenges at the intersection of hardware and software. Your familiarity with Linux systems allows you to navigate and optimize the infrastructure that supports advanced technology. You are eligible for U.S. TS Clearance, which is essential for working with defense customers.
What you'll do
As a Deployment Systems Engineer at Nominal, you will own projects end-to-end, ensuring the successful deployment of our software infrastructure that powers advanced hardware systems. You will collaborate with a small, fast-moving team to iterate quickly while maintaining safety and precision in your work. Your role will involve frequent travel to end-user sites, where you will implement and monitor systems in real-world environments. You will also engage with top-tier commercial and defense customers, including the U.S. Navy and United States Air Force, to understand their needs and ensure our solutions meet their requirements. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of mission-critical systems, enabling hardware engineers to push the boundaries of technology.
