You are comfortable working with Python and JavaScript, and you understand how to build and integrate APIs effectively. Your experience includes working with databases and you have a solid understanding of SQL. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex problems with innovative solutions.

You are familiar with machine learning concepts and how they can be applied to improve search functionalities. What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement AI connectors that power agentic search capabilities across various applications. You will work on transforming natural language questions into intelligent queries, ensuring that the search experience is seamless and efficient. Your responsibilities will include building semantic search infrastructure and implementing ranking systems that respect user permissions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the connectors are robust and scalable, capable of handling millions of documents across thousands of customers.

You will also be involved in keeping third-party data continuously in sync, which requires a strong understanding of data integration techniques. As part of the AI Connectors team, you will contribute to the overall vision of enhancing Notion's capabilities through AI, making it easier for users to find the information they need quickly and effectively.
