You are adaptable and can handle the responsibilities of operating autonomous vehicles for up to 8 hours a day.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for operating autonomous test vehicles that run proprietary software and hardware. You will work on-site in either Santa Clara or South San Francisco, with the first two weeks of training based in Santa Clara. Your primary duty will be to operate the vehicle in both manual and autonomous modes, ensuring adherence to safety and operational driving procedures. You will be part of a growing operations team, contributing to the development and training of self-driving technology. You will need to demonstrate your ability to handle diverse traffic conditions while maintaining a focus on safety and operational excellence. Your role will involve passing various training checkpoints, both in and out of the vehicle, to ensure you are fully prepared for the responsibilities of operating autonomous vehicles.
