Who you are
You have a strong background in machine learning and generative modeling, with experience in developing and scaling state-of-the-art models. Your expertise includes diffusion architectures, flow-matching techniques, and energy-based models, which you have applied in real-world scenarios. You are familiar with leveraging large language models for reasoning and decision-making, and you understand the intricacies of multi-modality generation. Your knowledge of reinforcement learning allows you to optimize generative models effectively, enhancing interactive reasoning capabilities. You are a collaborative team player, eager to work across autonomy teams to develop holistic solutions to complex challenges. You possess a problem-solving mindset, able to evaluate issues and propose innovative ideas to drive progress.
Desirable
Experience with reward modeling and learned verifiers using generative models is a plus. Familiarity with active learning and world modeling will further enhance your contributions to the team. You are also interested in exploring joint prediction and planning, as well as self-play techniques to advance generative modeling applications.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and scale generative models specifically designed for autonomous plan generation. You will build generative models that integrate with foundation models, utilizing large language models to enhance reasoning and decision-making processes. Your work will involve optimizing these models using reinforcement learning techniques to improve their interactive reasoning capabilities. You will explore various methodologies, including reward modeling and learned verifiers, to enhance the performance of generative models. Additionally, you will investigate joint prediction and planning strategies, as well as self-play approaches to refine model outputs. Collaboration will be key as you work with different autonomy teams to address top challenges in the field. You will evaluate your solutions by deploying models onto the NuroDriver, ensuring they meet the required standards and contribute to the company's mission of making autonomy accessible to all.
