What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Nuro, you will be instrumental in building our in-house Teleoperations platform. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a network interface bonding framework that maximizes bandwidth and LTE network utilization, ensuring seamless communication between vehicles and operators. You will also create an offline network simulation and emulation framework to predict online performance, which is vital for iterative development and testing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect on-road network metrics, analyze performance data, and implement improvements based on real-world feedback. Your role will involve rigorous testing of systems in various environments to ensure reliability and effectiveness. You will contribute to the overall strategy of Nuro by enhancing the teleoperation capabilities that support our mission of making autonomy accessible to all.
