You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on testing, particularly in automated testing frameworks. Your experience includes working with cloud infrastructure and you are familiar with infrastructure-as-code practices. You are detail-oriented and motivated to ensure the highest quality in software delivery.

You possess expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Go, and you are comfortable using Bash for scripting tasks. Your knowledge extends to deployment tools like Terraform and Ansible, which you have used to streamline and automate processes. You understand the importance of performance and security in software applications and are committed to maintaining these standards.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Desirable

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of security best practices in software development will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for Okta's deployment tools. You will develop automated test frameworks and scripts that are robust, scalable, and reusable, ensuring that the tools used in continuous deployment are reliable and efficient.

You will execute various types of testing, including functional and non-functional testing, to validate the performance and security of the infrastructure. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and updating test cases as the deployment tools evolve, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall development process, sharing your insights and expertise with the team.
