Okta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their AI Ecosystems team to build scalable systems for authentication in the Agentic AI era. You'll work with Java, Python, and AWS to deliver innovative features. This role requires 5+ years of experience.

You have 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, particularly in building scalable systems that address real-world security challenges. Your background includes working with technologies like Java and Python, and you have a strong understanding of cloud services such as AWS. You are a lifelong learner who values ownership and innovation, and you are excited about contributing to a diverse and dynamic team.
Desirable
Experience with Auth0 or similar identity management platforms is a plus. Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in security contexts will set you apart. You are comfortable navigating complex technical discussions and enjoy mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge to help them grow.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer on the AI Ecosystems team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing features that enhance our authentication solutions in the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence. You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your role will involve writing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, and ensuring that the systems you build are robust and scalable.
