Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating your ability to communicate effectively with clients and understand their needs. You possess a basic understanding of various mobile technologies, operating systems, and cloud computing, which allows you to navigate technical discussions with ease. Your hands-on experience with Android, Java, C/C++, and REST programming languages equips you to provide technical solutions that meet customer requirements. Additionally, practical knowledge in information security fields such as strong authentication and mobile security will give you an edge in this role.
You are an excellent social communicator and a team player, capable of collaborating with sales teams and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction. Your problem-solving skills enable you to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide timely updates to customers during project implementation. You thrive in environments where you can showcase and demonstrate products, ensuring that clients understand the value of OneSpan's solutions.
What you'll do
As a Solutions Engineer at OneSpan, you will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of customer relationships. You will work closely with the sales team in Japan to win new business and increase sales from existing customers. Your role will involve providing technical service before sales, professional service during sales, and customer support after sales. You will meet with customers to present OneSpan's security solutions and demonstrate products during customer visits or security exhibitions. Understanding and analyzing customer needs will be crucial as you propose solutions using OneSpan products.
You will prepare and deliver Proof of Concept demonstrations tailored to meet customer needs and respond to Requests for Information or Requests for Proposal. Providing product training and technical consultancy during project implementation will be part of your responsibilities, as will collaborating with customer project managers to ensure successful project delivery. After the system goes live, you will provide first-level customer support and troubleshoot any issues that arise, escalating problems to product specialists when necessary. Your role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and strengthening relationships with clients.
