Job Description
Who you are
You have 5-6 years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in customer-facing roles — your ability to present technical concepts to both executives and engineers sets you apart. You possess strong presentation skills, capable of delivering impromptu demonstrations and whiteboard sessions that resonate with technical audiences. Your extensive experience with large-scale databases, data warehouse technologies, ETL processes, and analytics makes you a valuable asset in any technical discussion. You have hands-on knowledge of SQL and SQL analytics, allowing you to connect customer business challenges with Snowflake's solutions effectively. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, complements your technical background. You are fluent in both Japanese and English, enabling you to communicate effectively in a bilingual environment.
What you'll do
As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Snowflake, you will present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and IT professionals, demonstrating its value throughout the sales cycle via demos and proofs of concept. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs and plan support for sales opportunities. Your role will involve staying informed about industry trends, competitors, and related technologies to position Snowflake effectively. You will work with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to implement product improvements and marketing initiatives that align with customer feedback and market demands.
