What you'll do

As a Founding Staff Software Engineer at Onton, you will join a dynamic team of engineers, AI researchers, and product designers to tackle cutting-edge problems. Your primary responsibility will be to design, scope, implement, and deploy user-critical features that will help scale Onton to serve over 1 billion searches per year. You will work closely with your team to create a seamless and cohesive experience for users, ensuring that the solutions you build are both effective and efficient.

You will have the opportunity to influence the strategic foundation of the Engineering Team, setting standards for quality and performance as the company grows. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the product aligns with user needs and business goals. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team.
