What you'll do

As the Strategic Finance Compute Lead, you will own and develop financial models across various elements of compute, including GPUs, CPUs, storage, and networking. You will lead strategic financial analysis for long-term capacity initiatives, ensuring that financial insights are integrated into engineering decisions. Your role will involve maintaining deep knowledge of compute costs and trends, allowing you to provide critical insights that inform future investments.

You will collaborate with scaling and supercomputing engineering teams, offering financial expertise to optimize capacity investments and drive strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing spend patterns and reporting on financial performance to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints. You will play a pivotal role in shaping OpenAI's compute strategy, aligning it with broader financial considerations and organizational goals.
